Advanced electronics and ergonomically-sound design integrate seamlessly in Pace's Mark 3 System to address the extreme demands of underwater electronic cinematography. For over 30 months, PACE supplied four Mark 3 housings for the BBC Blue Planet series. The external interface to the camera's complex menu system makes it easy to modify the gain and white balance, saving production time and money. The Mark 3 features an external, moveable viewfinder. Versatile, Powerful. Deployed with Sony's DVW700 camera series, the Mark 3 interfaces a range of camera functions, from the basic - zoom, focus, iris, and VTR run - to optional full remote operations. Slim, Compact, Ergonomic. Weighing in at just a half pound wet, the Mark 3 housing is lighter, more compact than most systems. One of the ways we achieve this is by removing the camera handle before installation in the housing. The housing's diagonal seal allows the top half of the housing to be completely removed, expediting change-outs. External lens controls are conveniently located next to the handles. Interchangeable dome and flat ports are included. This system uses a modified Fujinon 4.8 lens, and requires a focus servo palm-grip (BERD-28) and 4.5" +2 diopter. |
