The versatile 1200 Watt PacePAR HMI light operates dry, wet or fully submerged.
Innovative Cooling System. In 1989, Pace extended the limits and capabilities of the underwater lighting industry when we invented an innovative cooling method that allows HMI fixtures to work in diverse and extreme environments. By controlling temperature using heat sink fins and a Teflon barrier, the fixtures electronics and seals are able to withstand a 400° F temperature differential. This breakthrough makes it possible for the PacePAR 1200 to go from dry to wet environments in many set conditions. An added benefit of the design is that, protected from excessive temperatures, the fixtures electronics and seals last longer.
Intense light. The PacePAR 1200 Watt HMI safely and efficiently projects a brilliant beam of light through a water column.
Built with the highest quality materials. Using computer aided design, we built the lamp head to ensure maximum resistance to harsh environmental effects. The shell is individually machined from solid billets of aluminum for structural integrity. Finally, each light is assembled using stainless steel parts, and high temperature lenses and seals.
Each of our lenses is tested. Period. Every single Pace lens is tested to withstand maximum thermal shock. We recommend using only lenses from PACE, because competitive lenses are not similarly protected or necessarily tested against thermal shock, and may fail under the same conditions.
