The Mobility Express Solution is ideal for small and medium-sized networks. The Cisco Aironet 1850 Series Access Point delivers industry-leading performance with enterprise-class 4x4 MIMO and four spatial streams. These support the IEEE’s new 802.11ac Wave 2 specification.

Extended support

The Aironet 1850 Series extends support to a new generation of Wi-Fi devices, such as smartphones, tablets and high-performance laptops that have integrated 802.11ac Wave 1 or Wave 2 support. It also optimizes support for legacy clients. The onboard controller supports up to 25 access points and 500 devices.

Wireless technology with 802.11ac

The Cisco Aironet 1850 Series supports the latest wireless technology, namely 802.11ac Wave 2 (dual radio, 80 MHz channel width) and 4x4 Multi User MIMO. By using this latest Wi-Fi technology, you will improve your Wi-Fi coverage and performance.

MU-MIMO

The use of Multi User MIMO (MU-MIMO) increases the capacity of the Wi-Fi hotspot, which also improves client performance. MU-MIMO is obtained by three spatial streams, and is available for 802.11ac Wave 2-users.
